Boy meets boy at summer camp. This is a sweet and loveable story that covers Armenian culture including lots of discussion around incredibly delicious Armenian food.

A good, cute gay read to lift the spirits of all the LGBT+ people out there who are tired of reading about the tragedy of being who we are.

This book was rather enjoyable. It’s easy to read and something to pick up if you don’t want to make a strong commitment to reading a book. The writing style is rather simple, but the story is interesting and does keep your intrigue. I…

I went into this expecting a simple LGBTQ+ love story, and I got so much more! There was so much diversity throughout the book. I learned about a culture that I didn't even know existed, and I was so impressed with the author's…

So many incredible elements to this story! From LGBTQ topics to culturally diverse topics to normal teen life, this book covers a lot of ground, and the author does a phenomenal job addressing everything. I also really appreciate that…

My Big Fat Armenian Coming-Out, basically. A good, quick read, and it's always nice to have more queer stories that aren't heavy.

I found that this book was definitely a surprise for me. It had it's moments and there were some really exciting moments, but, as with most books, it did have it's down periods. I would definitely recommend this book to any LGBTQ youth or…

This is a genial, coming-out novel where, oddly enough, the sexuality of its protagonist provides the least of his problems. The author is of Armenian/Israeli descent and a strong sense of this background forms the basis for this novel.…

THE FEELS OMFG I read the whole book in one sitting, it was so sweet. There were moments where I laughed out loud, others where I was so upset... an excellent book overall and highly recommend it. Beware though: the book brings so many…

Cultural and sexual issues are blended in this story which has a happy ending. Plenty of Armenian food and culture (and humor) is included. It's not easy to be young and controlled -- Alek does the best he can and occassionally fires a…

This book made me feel so many different things, all them mostly positive. Alek is a fourteen year old boy living in New Jersey with his very proud Armenian parents. Their little quirks and quips added humour and Alek's aggravation towards…
