"It's a beautiful day for a war. As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all. And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time. In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant Series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear... or the end of herself."-- Page [4] of cover.

I absolutely loved this book and I love this series! A journey of joy, sorrow, and action- it's just another perfect mix of words that creates feelings only Jennifer Armentrout can craft. I don't know if that made sense but I just can't get over this book! I didn't like the beginning, but when I found out why Alex was going around like a zombie, it made so much sense! Then the whole Olivia fiasco! NO! I was so surprised after the big battle with Ares, what Apollo did, and was so sad until that amazing last little plot twist at the very end! It just made me love Seth and this series more! I'm so sad that this series is over, but so excited for the new series based around Seth! SO GREAT!

A good conclusion. A nice end to five books of five years of waiting. Okay to the actual review now. Not a lot of shocking events but the ending is kind of an unexpected one though. While i was nearing the final pages, i find that i didn't really care for Alex and Aiden anymore, i was really thinking about Seth (He turned out to be the big hero and person in the end!). I love the light humour put into the book with Seth, Deacon and oh my Gods in contrast with the boring (and cheesy) bits of the book. But definitely a good conclusion to the Covenant series.
