Only watched for about twenty minutes. Mediocre at best.

Should be 2 stars, but I got sloppy dragging color and you can't change a rating, which is something your coder may want to fix. The plot is on a Friday The 13th level, so be in a mindset to be entertained without taxing any brain cels. In fact, I told my wife exactly how the film would end (it's supposed to shock and surprise you) and it ended exactly as predicted. The veteran detectives in this film don't turn on lights in a dark home or warehouse before wandering around with a known serial killer on the premises. Oh, brother!

Great acting and a medium story.

There was a serial murderer in town. The first crime scene left clues directed to an active and a retired detective. As body counts climb, the detectives tried to find the killer’s next intended victim. Like Sherlock Holmes and Watson, the detectives always got a Eureka moment before rushed off to the kill site. I too do not fault veteran actors Pacino and Urban, but the supporting actors all turned in pedestrian performances. The stunts, foot/car chases, set design (crime scenes), make up (corpses) and dialogue were dull, dull, dull, dull and dull. Even the cover of the much recorded folk rock “House of The Rising Sun” as the end credit rolled sounded dull. The good news was that Pacino, who has just turned 78 (born: April 25, 1940), still had a full head of hair and carried himself well in the film.

I watched the whole movie, but it was a feat of endurance. It felt as though everyone involved in the production had lost a bet.

I'm assuming Al needed the money on doing this movie or they paid him enough to put his name on it.

I always enjoy Al Pacino, and I like Karl Urban too. The story about a serial killer is played out as the hangman game. One victim for one letter revealed. Not bad, not his best, enjoyed the movie.

Every since Scent of a Woman Al Pacino cannot let go of that character. I cringed every time he spoke. This would have been a somewhat decent movie if Pacino's character was cast with a different actor.

When did Al Pacino become a total joke?

huh-eureka moments:

I think I know now where we're gonna find our next victim.
I see marble walls. Um, I see plaques. There's lots of plaques. Oh, my God. Ruiney, where's he buried?
I think I know where he's gonna take her, and why.
You want this thing to make some kind of sense? That's not the world.
Oh, my God. I know who the killer is. Call dispatch.
That's it. It's coming together. He wants us there, Ruiney. Only we got to beat his timeline.

Detective Michaels, he vowed to find the guy who did this to me. I don't know why. I don't know why he cared so much. But he did. He found him. He found the guy. And the guy shot him. Detective Michaels had a wife... ...and a little girl. People don't understand why you guys do what you do. They don't understand how much you give up and how much you sacrifice. So, this story, it's not about me, it's about... It's about him. It's about you. It's about you guys.
