Add a CommentA short, dreary novel. Two stars seems too generous, but one star seems cruel. The story is well-written and features some memorable passages, but the story overall is forgettable. The ending is contrived and made me mad.
This is an emotional and compelling story. Edwards puts you right into the mind of Marcia, the mother of a teenage boy who was violently murdered by a schoolmate. With sparse but impactful language, it kept me up turning the pages long into the night.
