I kind of enjoyed this movie. I did not find the sexual content to strong considering the people are adults. They are not even young adults. He was a licensed vet who worked for his Dad which means he has spent more than 7 years the other man was a doctor so you are talking they are acting the part of someone in their late 20's or 30's. Also, the movie is realistic about relationships and how you never know when you will meet your significant other. To me it was almost a hallmark type of movie.

A romance with no chemistry between the characters, subordinate characters that are there just as background noise, sub-plots that go nowhere. The main plot (if there is one--hard to tell) is both predictable and pointless.

Gentle, undemanding background pictures and sound if you are *really* tired, since you don't have to keep track of the plot. (Oh, except that the sound levels vary wildly between dialogue and music, so you have to keep cranking the volume up and down ...) A good movie to watch if you really, really like boating among the marshy coasts of the Carolinas.

Rated 1/10. Blah, no thanks! After 20 minutes, I turned it off. Couldn't relate to all the fresh-faced under 30 crowd.

The story was good, but it contained strong Sexual content, rude gestures, language. Sadly, it was a bad movie. The plot was very enjoyable and very good, but they destroyed it.

Not something for a man, and that is totally sexist, but this author has had about seven of his books made into film, and the ladies love Nicholas Sparks.

I only watched bits and pieces because I was cooking dinner, but from what I saw, my lady was loving it. She doesn't think it's the best of the bunch of films made from his books, but she wants more, so that's a good sign that she enjoyed what she was watching. And guys, if it's movie night for you and a loved one, you can't go wrong with any of the Nicholas Sparks romances. He did write The Notebook, The Vow, etc. so consider The Choice if you want a little love, just don't check it out to watch with the guys.

That's the most one sided review I've written, and I'm ashamed. But I do need to label this as a "chick flick".

Flippant, flirty and silly. Did not hold my interest. This movie is a waste of time.

One Nicholas Sparks book I haven't read. I did enjoy the film. Nicholas Sparks fans will love it.
