Shes never met the other wives. None of them know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, she can see her husband only one day a week. But she loves him so much she doesn't care. Or at least that's what she told herself. But one day, while she's doing laundry, she finds a scrap of paper in his pocket, an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and she knows it's another of the wives. She thought she was fine with her arrangement, but she can't help herself: she tracked her down, and, under false pretenses, she strikes up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who she is. Then, Hannah starts showing up to her coffee dates with telltale bruises, and she realize she's being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also her husband. But shes never known him to be violent, ever. Who exactly is her husband, and how far would she go to find the truth? Would she risk her own life? And who is his mysterious third wife?

Interesting plot. Thursday was very annoying however, which made it hard to like her 😆. Ending was weird.

Decent suspense novel, but a few muddled plot points.

The storyline was very unique. It's definitely a good read if your looking to read something differen't from the regular thrillers and genre books. The author keeps the readers engage with multiple plot twists and leaving you with some sort of confusion from each chapter

This was good, but the end was weird... I would like to read it again knowing what happens. Definitely keeps you guessing!

I had heard that this was a page turner. Well, I found the first half or so irritating as the protagonist really annoyed me. However, I recommend that readers persevere as the latter half does turn out to be a page turner. A deeply disturbing novel worth the read.

This is a page turner. Was surprised right to the end. Easy quick read, that you will find you don't want to put down.
Surprised by some reviews that I saw, if you stick with this one past the first third of the book, it will grab you again, worth the read.

Enjoyed this immensely. A metaphor for the # Me Too movement in many ways. I liked that it was not predictable at all.

Should you decide to carry on with the plot, it gets significantly better. When things hit the fan, it really hits the fan. The mind games happening throughout the last half of the story is so well done that you're even left second guessing yourself.

This story kept me guessing. I was confused as to what was real for 80% of it. It was different from most "thrillers" I have read in the past, but the polygamist story line was interesting.

Ugh. The story became more and more far fetched. I decided it was along the lines of "Gone Girl" and somebody was delusional here. I ended up skimming about a third of the book. Not enjoyable, just very irritating. I just wanted to shake some sense into the narrator, Thursday.
