Add a CommentI was so excited to get this latest Decker novel with all my favourite characters only to be SO DISAPPOINTED that it was a Part 1 of a continuing story. I do not remember any of Faye Kellerman's books not being a complete story, so this was quite a let-down. The story itself became a little monotonous in places and I'm wondering why Kellerman just did not tighten the writing and finish the story rather than stretching it into another book.
I’ve read every book about the Deckers....but this one was a bit draggy...obviously there’s a continuous book coming....but it was rather boring...hopefully the next one will be more exciting...
My first time reading these characters. Found the story dragging on a bit.
Be prepared. This is a “to be continued” story. It ends in the middle of one of the book’’s plots.
I have been following the lives of Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus for almost 35 years and always look forward to the next book in the series. This mystery was OK, but I prefer the books when Rina is more involved. Kristi & Abby Tabby
