I really loved this story about crazy aliens, unique families, with a hula competition thrown in for good measure. Not your typical Disney fare, which makes this a real treat!

its a hilarious movie with ''ohana'' as a great reminder of how family is so important!(but of course ,god is first!

A very solid movie with a deep lesson. The art style is quite impressive as well and Stitch is a hoot. Also one of the few Disney movies that doesn't center on a romantic plot; the one that is present plays second fiddle to the larger story of Lilo having to live with her adult sister.

Lilo & Stitch is a 2002 American animated science fiction comedy-drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film's story revolves around two eccentric and mischievous individuals: a six-year-old Hawaiian girl named Lilo Pelekai, who is raised by her 19-year-old sister Nani after their parents died in a car accident, and a blue extraterrestrial animal-like creature called Experiment 626, who is adopted by Lilo as her "dog" and renamed "Stitch". I enjoyed watching this movie because I love the characters, the storyline, and the message. I would highly recommend this movie to all ages. Stitch is adorable, and his relationship with Lilo is very heartwarming.

Lilo and Stitch is easily one of my favourite Disney movies of all time! I love the characters, the storyline, and the message! Stitch is adorable, and his relationship with Lilo is very heartwarming. I also love how close Lilo and her sister are, which I think is very important in the real world, as well. This movie definitely displays the importance of family and friends, which is very applicable to everyone. I think that the plot of aliens was a creative incorporation, and worked well with the story. I would definitely recommend this movie to other viewers – it is unique, funny, and adventurous, plus it has great music and likeable characters! It is a movie the whole family will enjoy! Rating 5/5

Lilo is a fun loving young girl who was feeling lonely and just wanted a friend. She ends up adopting a pet that she names Stitch, however the pet is in fact a failed lab experiment from another planet. She must use her faith in family and coming together to tame this wild beast into becoming her best friend and having a heart. Through this relationship, they go through a variety of adventures and experiences across Hawaii in the name of adventure. This movie shows the meaning of unconditional love and the bond that families members have. I would rate it 4/5 stars and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something positive. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

This is the best movie of all times! It is about a tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else. I love this movie. The whole plot, the theme, everything about this movie is heart-touching. I love the whole Ohana concept. I would recommend this movie to people of all ages since it is a family friendly movie. My favourite character would have to be Stitch because everything he does is so cute. Overall, this movie is amazing and you will love it! 5/5. @TheBookWorm of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Probably the best film to come out post Disney Renaissance. Everything about Lilo and Stitch is fabulous.

My favorite Disney film; this sweet film about a little girl who wishes on a star for a friend and gets a little more than she bargained for. Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. Oh, my little heart can't take it.

A sweet, innocent Disney film about the importance of family, self-sacrifice, and finding where you belong. "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." That's basically the movie in a nutshell. The story can be appreciated by both adults and kids alike. It's such a wonderful story of sisterhood too. A great movie. Also, it's hilarious. Plus, Stitch is stinking adorable. ;D

I think this is the same as the Big Wave release which the Library has many more copies of if you are on the huge hold list.

This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It's little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.
