This movie is one of my favourites. It is so great, funny and intriguing. The hate to love story is one of my favourites and it is sure to keep you entertained. It’s a classic feel-good happy ending rom-com from the late 90s. Kat Stratford, the main female character, is fierce and unapologetic with everything she does. She doesn’t care what other people think or about fitting in. Patrick Verona, the main male character, is an intimidating bad boy who is new to the school. He is a bit of a mystery because no one knows much about him. All the characters in this movie have very different personalities, which make the story very interesting. This movie is a romantic comedy. If that sounds like something you would enjoy I highly recommend you watch it. I give this movie 4.5/5 stars - @bookreaderbrunette_1 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library The movie 10 things I hate about you is most definitely one of my favourite movies right now. I love the whole plot of the movie because it kept me intrigued and guessing what was going to happen next. My favourite character is Kat because she is a feminist just like me. She inspires me to keep bringing awareness to the issue. Also, she never cared about what anyone said about her, and I want to be just like that. One thing I can take away from this movie is that you can find love in an unexpected way with unexpected people. I definitely did not suspect some of the romantic relationships in this movie. Overall, I think anyone over the age of 13 would enjoy this movie. 5/5 - @Lessie of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library This classic teenage romance film is about Kat, a very intimidating yet intriguing young girl who essentially rejects every teenage boy that crosses her path. Her younger sister is not allowed to get a boyfriend until Kat does, which leads her to meeting a boy named Patrick. He is charming, sweet, and almost irresistible. This movie is a personal favourite of mine and will tug on your heartstrings as you watch the romance between Kat and Patrick form. I would rate this movie 4/5 stars for its sheer nostalgia, and recommend it to those who typically enjoy romance films @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
