Last of the trilogy and a bit of a let down. I don't know why McIntosh sets the protagonist in New York where the police accuse him of fraud and he becomes a murder suspect on such little evidence. Is the author criticizing the usa justice system or just frightening the tourists who would be wary of living in such a police state. There is not much depth of character in the protagonist and some of his decisions are so irrational, I had to roll my eyes! The book gives closure to the plot line but i would not pick up another book by this author.
