Another delightful entry in this charming series. I love this fun, light series because of the characters, humour and the setting. These books are set in the 1930's and while the stories and main characters are fictional, but the series is peppered with references to actual historical events and real-life characters pop up as minor characters. I love Lady Georgiana and it was lovely in this book to see her becoming a bit more confident. All of the usual supporting characters appear, including Queenie, Belinda, Fig, Binky, Darcy, and her mother, Claire. The mystery in this book is very slight. I enjoy this series very much and fans of Downton Abbey might also enjoy this light, period romp, but if you are looking for a good, twisty, thought-provoking mystery then this book won't be satisfactory. I like these fun, sparkling books very much and I'm looking forward to the next one.
